Pr0phie parts ways with Moon Raccoons; down to four players
Moon Racoons has announced the departure of Magno “Pr0phie” Ramos. This move leaves only four raccoons and a coach on board on the organization-less roster.
Even though we don’t know why Pr0phie left, he was sent off with a rad montage of his time with the team set to none other than Nickelback’s “Photograph”. Honestly, that’s a pretty entertaining way to say goodbye.
Before jumping into Valorant, Pr0phie was a pro PUBG player for teams like Cloud9 and Ghost Gaming. He joined Moon Raccoons on a five day trial back in October but ended up staying for the ride.
During his time with the team, the team made some big moves like qualifying for First Strike North America. Even though they only placed 5th – 8th, they were the only team in the tournament that was not signed by an organization.
Somebody on the Valorant Competitive subreddit spotted Pr0phie on the Spacestation Gaming (SSG) roster for the NSG – Monthly December tournament. The top 3 teams from the tournament will be invited to the NSG VALORANT $25k Winter Championship on January 13-17. The top 4 teams will be invited to the Complexity x Nerd Street Gamers $10k Invitational on January 9 and 10.
Some people speculated that he may be on trial with the team. This would make sense since SSG is down to four players after Adam “kaplan” Kaplan left in early December. Just as I was about to hit publish on this article, SSG made the official announcement that Pr0phie would be joining their roster. His first match with the team will be today against Resonate.
What do you guys think of the move? Will Pr0phie do well on the Spacestation Gaming roster? As usual, remember to follow us at Run it Back and join our Discord for all your latest news, extensive guides, and exclusive interviews in the world of Valorant.
