It is also a very useful tool for retaking bombsites.

The first lineup will help you take control of A-short, revealing all enemy players peaking out from Lamps. The second lineup can be used very effectively in combination with an execute onto the A-site. The Recon Bolt will land on site and will reveal enemy players behind the smokes. The third lineup is a great way to gather information on the B-site, as it will reveal almost all spots on the site. This can be used to gather information, and aid with your team hitting the site.

Recon Bolt Lineups for Bind: Attack

A-short

In order to do this lineup you will need to position yourself up against the barrel as shown below. From there it is easiest to use the tip of your arrow to get the perfect lineup. You then charge the shot into the second bar, while having the bounces set to zero.

Taking map control of the A-short area is an important way to deny the enemy team information. This Recon Bolt will enable you to do that, as enemy players will be more likely to fall back once they have been revealed in this area.

A-site

With your back against the corner you can position your crosshair on the bottom left side of the square panel on the wall. From here you will need to charge the shot into the second bar, with the bounces set to one.

This Recon Bolt is a great way to clear out the positions close to the Showers entrance. If you combine this with a smoke at the location of the Recon Bolt, it will make it difficult for the enemy team to quickly destroy it. This could potentially reveal even more of the enemy players on site.

B-site

To do this lineup you will need to keep your back against the wall and move to the left until there is a small gap between the two buildings, as shown by the blue box below. You then need to place your crosshair on the top right of the ladder. Once you have lined this up, you will need to fully charge the shot, with bounces set to one.

This Recon Bolt lands at the back of the site, at an elevated position, revealing all enemy players on site. This lineup can be used very effectively as part of a coordinated hit onto the B-site. Using this Recon Bolt once players have taken control of B-long and Hookah, will make breaching the site much easier.

For anyone playing Sova as one of their main agents, it’s always good to know as many Recon Bolt lineups as possible, both for attack and defense. Before you utilize those in a ranked game, it’s definitely worth practicing them once or twice in a private match. This will also help you to remember them when going into a rated matchup.
